The Boston Harbor Islands are a unique & breathtaking place to hold any event, as it combines natural beauty with the opportunity to support the Boston Harbor Islands National Park area. These venues cater to all types of functions, from a large gala or wedding to a more intimate family picnic or corporate summer outing. We offer a vast array of food choices ranging from elegant plated dinners and passed hors d'oeuvres to more simple boxed lunches or clambakes. Our full service catering department will assist with boat transportation, bar service, party rentals, decor, etc.
Both islands have large tents up all season long where we hold private events. Tent and picnic tables are included in your site rental fee:
Spectacle Island
40' x 60' tent (200 people)
Georges Island
40' x 80' tent (250 people)
Groups of 250+ will require tent and additonal rentals
We do have a $1,000 food minimum for all daytime island events and a $2,000 food minimum for all evening island events (other fees apply). Therefore, for smaller groups of 35 or less, we recommend our weekly sunset clambakes as a more offordable alternative to a private catered event.
