
An Amazing Night for Maizy Willis
Tim Willis was born to be a chef. He began young, choosing to enter a culinary vocational high school outside of Philadelphia. There, he had the opportunity to work with renowned chef, George Perrier, at Le Bec Fin. Eventually, Tim began interning at Jasper White’s Summer Shack during their opening at the Mohegan Sun Report & Casino. Tim quickly mastered every station, and after graduating, became Sous Chef.
Over the years, Jasper & Tim worked closely at the Summer Shack Cambridge location, with Tim transitioning from Executive Chef to Culinary Director of Lyons Group. Father, family man, friend and chef, Tim’s passion, humanity & kindness made him loved by all who worked with and for him.
On January 11th, 2019, Chef Tim passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind his beloved wife Martha, 10 year old daughter, Maizy, and an abundance of many broken-hearted family & friends.
We would like to invite you to celebrate the memory of Tim, a loving father & husband, amazing friend and talented chef. We wish to honor Tim by helping his immediate family through their unexpected crisis by donating all proceeds from ‘An Amazing Night for Maizy’ directly to her college education.
